Alexandra Ready

Alex is a Managing Director who joined Cambridge Associates in 2006. She focuses on private funds investing in venture capital, private equity, natural resources, renewables, and real estate.  Alex works with nonprofit clients, including universities, foundations, and pension funds, ranging in size from $180 million to $238 billion in assets, on investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, private equity program design and evaluation, and manager selection. She serves on the firm’s Real Assets Investment Committee. Alex is a founding member of the firm’s Mission-Related Investing Group, facilitating the expansion of the firm’s knowledge of institutional quality managers of private funds.  She is also a presenter on sustainability at industry conferences.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates Alex worked at BSAM and served as an analyst for a large-cap growth fund. Before attending business school, Alex worked in equity research at Thomas Weisel Partners in New York, where she covered healthcare information technology and services companies.
