Request for applications: Financial review expert for Seeds for Resilience external reviews

The Crop Trust seeks to commission a second and final review of Seeds for Resilience Project seedbanks.This review will consider progress made towards achieving the Crop Trust Performance Targets and institutional and financial aspects affecting the effective functioning of the seedbank. The financial components of this review will be conducted in 5 national seedbanks. 

Interested applicants are requested to submit their applications to the procurement office by sending an email and attaching all requirements to: procurement@croptrust.org, no later than 13:00 CEST on 21 June 2024.

Request for applications: Consultants (or consultancy firms), Genebank Reviewer

Crop Trust coordinates the technical review of national and international genebanks as part of the process to assess the needs of partners for upgrading and their eligibility for long-term support. These reviews also provide direct inputs into the individual workplans of genebanks and monitor progress made towards achieving genebank standards. We regularly request applications from individual experts (or consultancy firms) with proven expertise, experience, and qualifications across the spectrum of ex-situ conservation to join the roster of Genebank Reviewers. We are specifically looking for consultants (or consultancy firms) with strong scientific expertise and experience in genebank management and operations.

Request for applications: Consultancy for the development of an Interactive Educational Digital Experience for the Crop Trust’s BOLD Project

The Crop Trust is looking for support in developing a truly innovative and highly engaging digital experience (website) to effectively communicate the objectives and significance of its mission and work, and, more particularly, its BOLD project’s pre-breeding component "Making New Diversity Available".

The objective of this consultancy is to design a state-of-the-art educational digital experiences that go beyond simple, static content. The ideal proposal will demonstrate technical expertise in using the most advanced web technologies (i.e.: WebGL) and high-end design skills in 3D / illustrations / animations / motions design.

The ideal proposal will also demonstrate a deep strategic understanding of the BOLD project, and be able to translate technical scientific knowledge into practical terms.
